Kid’s Clay and Art Camp in Lawton Oklahoma

I like living out here so far from the hustle and bustle of a big city but some days it does get a little redundant and I wish there were more things for the kids and I to do at an affordable price. The bowling coupons we find are never valid for any locations near us nor are the $1 Kids Movie Specials valid at either of our theaters so it’s nice to come across something for kids so close to home.

I came across an event promoting A Pigment of Your Imagination’s Kid’s Clay and Art Camp and didn’t realize we had a place like this here in Lawton. This looks like a fun way for your kids to spend a day or even week with price specials that include sibling discounts. It does seem a little on the expensive side but, depending on what kind of handmade masterpiece you get to treasure for years to come, it might just be worth it and the kind of thing the kids need to get out of the house and stretch those creative muscles again while school is out. Also, it’s indoors, always a plus in 108 degree weather!

Have you been? What did you think? I would love to hear your thoughts on this event and hope that you share any other kid friendly events you might have participated in and found enjoyable as well as budget savvy.

About CharityAnn

I'm a small town, stay at home mom living on a shoestring budget. I spend my time working as a ChaCha guide from home, searching out internet coupons and deals, and entering sweepstakes for fun prizes we couldn't normally afford. Through ChaCha, coupons, deals, and sweepstakes I have found a way to continue staying home with my kids while still affording the things we want. I'm still learning what works and what doesn't, but I hope to share my finds with local readers so that we may all enjoy what our small town has to offer without paying big city prices.
