About CharityAnn

I'm a small town, stay at home mom living on a shoestring budget. I spend my time working as a ChaCha guide from home, searching out internet coupons and deals, and entering sweepstakes for fun prizes we couldn't normally afford. Through ChaCha, coupons, deals, and sweepstakes I have found a way to continue staying home with my kids while still affording the things we want. I'm still learning what works and what doesn't, but I hope to share my finds with local readers so that we may all enjoy what our small town has to offer without paying big city prices.

  1. Right now there is a Kotex-U coupon floating around for $1 off any Kotex U Product. Country Mart has a Kotex-U thin pantyliner that is priced at $1.29. This deal is a money maker.

    • Unfortunately ‘moneymakers’ aren’t possible at CountryMart. The idea of a moneymaker is that you would get more back in rewards, coupons, or cash than you paid for the actual product and at CountryMart the register rings it up as free. So if you have a coupon for $1 off that will double for a $1.50 product the register will take off $1.50 not $2. The only places I’ve found that will do moneymakers at this time are Walgreen’s (feel like moneymakers after Register Rewards) or Walmart (gives you overage on coupons, but they never double coupons). But that’s still a great deal on Kotex since they will ring up as free!

  2. Look for hangtags on 2 liters of soda at Country Mart. I signed up for Red Baron to get the coupons for $1/1. I happened to walk down the soda aisle after purchasing my frozen pizza. I looked at the hang tag which said $1 off with the purchase of a frozen or deli pizza. This coupon “doubled,” and I got the two liter ($1.69)for free! I was already going to be buying the pizza, so this wasn’t an extra expense at all. I’m going to do it again, but with a cheap Totino’s pizza or maybe another Red Baron.

There were some other coupons as well: $1 off with the purchase of a rotisserie chicken, etc. So take a look to see if they match up with something you are already purchasing.

    Isn’t couponing great?!

  3. Wow, I just reread my post, and it sounds a bit crazy. The gist of it is that I got a good pizza and a two liter for around $3. That is WAY better than eating out!

  4. Last one, I promise.

There was also a coupon last week in the SS, I think, that was $0.20/2 (DND) Kraft Jet Puffed Marchmallows. This coupon actually DID DOUBLE, so you can get two bags of marshmallows for $0.80 each WYB 2. This is better than the price of any genereic, Walmart’s included.

And there was a coupon in the July All You magazine (front cover)for B2G1 Free Kool Aid Packets. 3 packets for $0.16.

If you were lucky enough to get the $2/1 Claussen coupon from awhile back, you can get the jars this week for $0.69. And they are some great pickles!!

    • I was just running through emails real quick before I run out the door for the weekend but I wanted to let you know that I will see about making a post about these when I return. I LOVE those pizza coupons too!

Never stop posting! Ramble, question, share a deal, tell a story, I love it all!
