My CountryMart/Homeland trip, great summer savings!

I was proud of my shopping trip this morning. Homeland is having an awesome 3 day sale and when you pair this with the Savings card and double coupons you can get quite the savings. I did the best I have done at Homeland so far which was a 50% savings on my first transaction and 52% savings on the second transaction plus a 6.00 coupon on my next purchase (tomorrow) and a 2.00 off cereal coupon which I will also use tomorrow as these are marked down to a great price.

Some highlights include
Free Lipton tea (coupon in Spring Essentials at front door)
.29 Lean Pockets (printable coupon 1.00×2 off *doubled* I had been saving 4/7 exp yay!)
I love it when I get to try something new for this low price. I plan to do a post about this type of couponing later
.99 Super Pretzel on sale with a printable coupon for .50 off *doubled*
.50 Pinesol 1.00 off printable coupon *doubled*
.79 Clorox scented bleach

I won’t tell you how much I spent total because there were quite a few other things that were such great prices. 2/$3 Chips Ahoy cookies and 2/$5 Miracle Whip (there is a coupon for this one floating around). I also managed to pick up some 1.00 coupons for the Kool-Aid singles which makes them 2.00 a box at CountryMart or 1.50 a box at Walmart (shh). These are awesome when paired with the Ozark water coupon deal which makes them cheaper than generic right now if you got the paper 3/27 they had 1.00 of coupons.

Check out my Deal Scenario post about Homeland/CountryMart if you want to know how to get your hands on the 6.00 off coupon and how to use it. Yes, you will have to go 2 days. But it makes everything you bought so cheap and these are all amazing prices for summer BBQ items!! We’ll be having one soon. Tomorrow I will go back for my cheap charcoal and I even found that their Energy Saver light bulbs are on clearance with a 1.00 off coupon in that Spring Essentials ad which doubles too, making them 3.21 OOP. Awesome weekend for summer savings!

About CharityAnn

I'm a small town, stay at home mom living on a shoestring budget. I spend my time working as a ChaCha guide from home, searching out internet coupons and deals, and entering sweepstakes for fun prizes we couldn't normally afford. Through ChaCha, coupons, deals, and sweepstakes I have found a way to continue staying home with my kids while still affording the things we want. I'm still learning what works and what doesn't, but I hope to share my finds with local readers so that we may all enjoy what our small town has to offer without paying big city prices.
