Facebook Freebies

These freebies are great but can be extremely time sensitive which is why you won’t find many posts about them here on my blog. But today as I was filling out the info for a full size Suave offer I realized that I could be sharing them on my page quickly for you all to find. So that’s just what I’m going to do. You won’t find many of these offers on here because by the time I read about them in an email subscription, most of them are already over. But if you are like me and keep Facebook open most of the day you can still find these deals when I post them there.

I’m still pretty new to blogging but I’ve been scoring freebies for quite some time now and I gotta say it’s awesome to open the mailbox to more than just bills. I still won’t post things that even I miss out on so if you see a ‘share’ on my page it is because I was lucky enough to get the freebie and/or it has a huge limit that should cover everyone that wants it.

There is a hot deal on Ivory bar soap at both CVS and Walmart if you have the P&G 5/1 insert. The soap is only $.99 at CVS and I’m reading that some are finding the same 3pk at Walmart for only $.97 which, of course, means overage to help pay for the taxes!

Why I love mail Freebies

I love mailbox freebies. These are awesome especially when you’re having an okay, so-so, or even rough day, it’s always nice to open the mailbox to some great free items you’ve been anxiously awaiting.

Yesterday, our puppy bandanna came in from a Subaru promotion. I know, cheesy, but my 2 year old and his puppy had fun for about an hour playing Tug-o-War and Tie the Bandanna to the Puppy. Today my oldest son brought me a coupon for a free Bic lighter and a small package from the mailbox. My Pepsi Max T-shirt win came in from a Pepsi Max promotion which is on until 6/30 and you can enter daily. It only took me about 2 weeks of daily entering to get mine and it only takes 2 seconds if you have auto-fill set up on your browser.

My son also managed to make me feel both bad and good about my weight when I opened the T-shirt package. He asked me ‘Is that going to fit?’ about my size large T-shirt and though I was hoping he would say it is too big, he thought I needed an X-Large since that’s the size of most of my T-shirts. I DO wear them kind of big but still, I’ve lost quite a bit of weight recently and I’m proud of myself. So it’s good that I’ve changed in size, but not that my son hasn’t seemed to notice. Will I always be chubby mommy in his eyes?
